You came to Easton owing Mr. Fenn 1,000.00. The job pays 90.00 a day, rent is 250.00 a week, and in four weeks the auditors arrive. Check every invoice against the rules. Somewhere in the stack, someone is stealing.

How to play

Each day a stack of invoices and letters lands on your desk. Approve anything that follows every rule. Reject anything that breaks one, and pick which rule.
The binder holds the rules, the supplier register, open orders, what's been paid, the staff file and your notes. Wrong calls cost the firm money and you a little pay; you always see why.
Friday is pay day and rent day, and Mr. Fenn wants his money. He charges 5% a week on what you still owe.
Someone at Kestrel & Sons is stealing. Their invoices break no rule, so pay them, but watch for the warning signs in your notes. Pin anything odd. On audit day, name who, and how.
Envelopes sometimes come clipped to bad invoices. Take one if you like. The auditors might find it.
